Lucia Abbamonte works as Adjunct Professor of English for Special Purposes and Applied Linguistics at the Department of Psychology at the Second University of Naples, where she has taken part in several interdisciplinary research projects and three Projects of National Relevance. Her present interests lie in (multimodal) critical discourse analysis, communication in socio-psychological interaction, language in professional practice and mediation, and the translation of scientific texts. She has authored four books and several essays, and regularly presents papers at international conferences.Flavia Cavaliere is Adjunct Professor of English Language and Translation at the Department of Humanities of the University of Naples Federico II. Her research interests lie within the fields of translation studies, language and media, discourse analysis, multilingualism, intercultural discourse for academic and professional purposes, and language teaching. Her publications include four volumes and many articles. She regularly presents papers at international conferences and participates in interdisciplinary research projects.
