Francis Grose (nacido antes del 11 de junio de 1731 – 12 de junio de 1791) fue un anticuario, dibujante y lexicógrafo inglés. Nació en la casa de su padre en Broad Street, St-Peter-le-Poer, Londres. Sus padres eran el inmigrante y joyero suizo Francis Jacob Grose (muerto en 1769), y su esposa, Anne (muerto en 1773), hija de Thomas Bennett de Greenford en Middlesex. Grose fue bautizado el 11 de junio de 1731 en la parroquia de St Peter-le-Poer.
