George Waas is a retired Florida government lawyer with more than thirty-two years with the state of Florida. He has been a newspaper reporter and educator, and practiced law in the private sector for eight years. His more detailed biography appears in his three previous books: his memoir, “Retired . . . and Loving It!”; and two novellas, “The Source” and “The Great American Short Story, ” all published in 2012. These books are available from Author House publishers as well as through online publishers. His memoir sequel, or mini memoir, “On Third Thought, ” is his fifth published book. He is married to Harriet Issner Waas and has two daughters, Lani (Hudgins) and Amy (Kinsey), and four grandchildren, Hailey and Kelsie (Lani) and Avery and Connor (Amy). He and his wife live in happy retirement with their two cats, Mandy and Sandy, in Tallahassee, Florida.
