Cover of H. Rider Haggard: Fair Margaret (Barnes & Noble Digital Library) (ePUB)

“It was a spring afternoon in the sixth year of the reign of King Henry VII of England.” Such is the deceptively quiet beginning of this breathless 1907 historical saga, which Alexandre Dumas, père would have envied. Follow young Peter Castell into the court of Queen Isabella, where cloak, dagger, swordplay, and intrigue await.
