About the author

John Durbin Husher graduated as an electrical engineer from the University of Pittsburgh in 1958. He retired in 2002 at the age of seventy after being the vice president and general manager of Micrel Semiconductor for twenty years.

He designed and built the first silicon analog integrated circuit during my lunch hours in 1959. The basic process he developed is still the basic approach used for analog integrated circuits where high voltage or high current or high power is needed.

He received an award from the University of Pittsburgh in 2012, the Distinguished Alumni Award, which is given to a chosen few over the years.

He began writing books in 2006 (none about his works). He has had eleven books published, and another one is at the publisher’s today. Seven are nonfiction, including the book printed in 2015, Life and Death. Four are fictional, about a character who was born after his pregnant mother was in a plane crash. This series is about the follower.

One can review the books by e-mailing JDHBooks.com, which shows the covers and a brief synopsis of each. He was always interested in medical things, and this is obvious in the books he has written.
