A Set of Six is a collection of short stories by writer Joseph Conrad, originally appeared in some literary magazines. The anthology includes two larger tales, Gaspar Ruiz and The Duel, plus four shorter stories, The Informer, The Brute, An Anarchist, Il Conde. Some of these short stories have been looked at with interest by other authors and artists worldwide. The Duel has inspired the 1977 film by director Ridley Scott, The Duellist, starring Keith Carradine and Harvey Keitel.
