Josette Baer, geb. 1966, studierte in Zürich Slawistik, Politische Wissenschaften und Geschichte Ost- europas. Sie ist Professorin für Politische Theorie mit Schwerpunkt Osteuropa an der Universität Zürich und Autorin zahlreicher Arbeiten zur Politik und zum politischen Denken Osteuropas. Wolfgang Rother, geb. 1955, studierte Philosophie, Theologie und Germanistik in Marburg, Tübingen und Zürich. Er ist Professor für Philosophie an der Universität Zürich, Autor verschiedener Bücher zur Ideengeschichte und Mitherausgeber des Grundrisses der Geschichte der Philosophie sowie mehrerer wissenschaftlicher Buchreihen.
