Joyce Reuland was born and raised in Aurora, Illinois, and still resides there doing her artwork, which has always been a large part of her life. She began her studies in watercolor under the guidance of renowned artist Ruth Van Sickle Ford, AWS. Her first venture into writing began in 2012 when she wrote A Journey for the Soul, a collection of her inspirational poems and paintings to accompany each poem.
