The Alpaca-bet! introduces children to this wonderful animal and the special joys of caring for and loving alpacas!

About the author

Kathryn Keil Brown is an elementary school librarian and alpaca breeder. In 2009, Ms. Brown fell in love with alpacas after visiting with a yarn vendor at a local craft fair. That winter, she and her family purchased their first alpaca and their herd has grown steadily ever since! Ms. Brown enjoys knitting, weaving, and spinning alpaca fleece into yarn. She and her husband live in Lorton, Virginia, where they own and run Sugar Hollow Farm Alpacas.
