Six short stories and one novella are included in this episode, which are Time-honored Brand, Soul Spear, I heard the Stories, Old Tragedies of the New Era, Let”s Talk About the House, New Han Muliede and Sorrowful Begining. These stories were all written in Qingdao. It was named Clam, because Lao She saw the scenery by the sea. In Clam Collection, Lao She uses tortuous and painful stories to tell the sufferings that belong only to the old Chinese.
