Laura Golding is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and LeadTutor for the NHS-funded North West (England) Clinical PsychologyContinuing Professional Development Scheme. She has had along-standing interest in and involvement with pre- andpost-qualification training in clinical psychology. She is a memberof the BPS Board of Examiners in Clinical Psychology and Committeeon Training in Clinical Psychology and also of the Division ofClinical Psychology”s CPD Sub-Committee. Her clinical work is withadults with a learning disability. Ian Gray is Clinical Director of the Lancaster UniversityDoctoral Programme in Clinical Psychology. He has a significantrole in professional training locally, regionally and nationally.He coordinates, jointly with Laura Golding, the Professional Issuesteaching on the Lancaster University Doctoral Programme. Hisinterest in CPD also stems from his responsibility for clinicalpsychology supervisor training, and his management responsibilitieswithin the NHS.
