As a part of Hundred-Flower Essays Series, this Collections of Modern Essays selects the famous articles and works of the prosers created during 1917 and 1949, fasciculated by authors. The selected authors were all famous prosers of that time, and the selected works are trying to show the development venation of the prose creations of the authors. Each set of works will be accompanied by an over-thousand-character critique preface to brief the biographies of the authors and offer analysis and comments on the artistic characteristics of their creation and development path and influence. The selected works will indicate the source and time of publication of the original book and notes will be offered for the indigestible points if necessary.
