Małgorzata Kajzer is a PhD student in the Department of Classical Archaeology at the Institute of Archaeology at Jagiellonian University. Her academic interests focus on the archaeology of Cyprus during the Hellenistic and Roman periods, and her research concerns ancient pottery, especially oil lamps and terra sigillata, as well as technology of pottery production. Having participated in the Paphos Agora Project in Cyprus since 2011, she finished her postgraduate studies on “Modern Analytical Techniques for Preservation of Monumental Objects” at the Faculty of Chemistry of Jagiellonian University 2014. She also cooperates with other archaeological missions in Cyprus and Lebanon through the Polish Centre of Mediterranean Archaeology of the University of Warsaw.Łukasz Miszk is a PhD candidate and employee in the Department of Classical Archaeology at the Institute of Archaeology at Jagiellonian University, having graduated in Archaeology and History at the same institution. He is a member of Computer Applications and Quantitative Methods in Archaeology – Poland, and his academic interests concern the archaeology of the Eastern Mediterranean, as well as the reconstruction of ancient everyday life in the light of archaeological evidence. He has participated in excavations in Poland, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Italy, Cyprus, and Portugal.Maciej Wacławik is a PhD candidate in the Department of Egyptian and Near East Archaeology at the Institute of Archaeology at Jagiellonian University, having graduated in Archaeology from the same university He is interested in the influence of ancient pagan civilizations on the Christian religion and culture, the meaning of the Negev Desert in the Byzantine Period, and metal objects and weighing systems in Roman and Byzantine Periods in the Mediterranean. He has taken part in excavations in Crimea (Akra), Egypt (Tell el-Farcha), the United States (Sand Canyon Project, Cortez, Colorado), Cyprus (Paphos), and Israel (Tel Erani).
