Margie J. Pittman and Barbara Reed are a mother and daughter tandem. Barbara was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and has spent most of her life in the Charleston, West Virginia, area. Margie, a Charleston native, is well-known for her Coal Camp Kids trilogy chronicling her upbringing in a Campbell’s Creek, West Virginia, coal camp. Knowing her mother’s love for writing, Barbara called one day and said she had a book idea. Margie loved the personal, political, and Christian struggle that were woven throughout Barbara’s story outline. The resulting story from their collaboration is plausible, maybe even probable, based on current trends in America. They hope you enjoy Tiebreaker and ask that you pray for our country.
