My parents had the misfortune to bear me as their first child because I developed into a hyperactive little terror. By the time I reached the teen years they were able to reason with me. History, the composite stories of people and events, stole my mind away from other disciplines and set me on the way to delve into its intricacies.. In college, I majored in History and squeezed out the Bachelor and Masters Degrees from City University in Manhattan. I went on to teach in the New York City Public School Systems which kept me busy for the next 25 years. While teaching, I picked up nearly 60 more credits in teaching History and Administration and added an Assistant Principals License to my academic credentials. For the next 18 years, I served as a salesman of Municipal and Corporate Bonds and graduated to a position as Senior Vice President in charge of sales.. I returned to the teaching of History for another six years, and have spent the last three years writing novels involving the History of the last century. Best Wishes, Michael Stein
