"The Byzantine" is a mystical and historical novel. It explores the fictitious events after the Council of Ephesus and Chalcedon n the 5th century AD. It follows the life of a young man who is believed to have been chosen as the "new Adam" and presents a fascinating insight into what it means to be human and how we achieve salvation. It is a story of intrigue and betrayal, of search and questioning in the midst of wars, political disputes and conflicts. We follow his passions for two women in particular and how he works out his role in the salvific plan of the Almighty.
