After 20 years of working in a technical field of photography, Mike disliked taking photos on his own time. It was in 2015 when his mum passed away, that he then realised how many precious memories were never captured. His family only have six photos of his mum in her last nine years with her three grandchildren. So, suspending his extreme prejudice toward the smartphone, Mike started taking regular photos. He did not need to worry about technical camera setup and could just slow down and capture the intricate details and beauty of the immediate world around him. Mike fell in love with mobile photography!Needing to share this passion and help other amateur photographers, he ran local mobile photography workshops. The discovered fulfilment of empowering others led to a qualification in educational design to deliver structured training programs. Mike may not travel to exotic locations or share photos living a van life with a large social media following… but, he does know how to help you fast-track your transformation to becoming the mobile photographer that you want and deserve to be.
