I am a mother of three children aged nine, eleven, and thirteen. My life has gone through many dramatic changes over the last few years. Now I am living an amazing, peaceful, happy, and fulfilled life, but I am still learning and growing each day. I hope that never changes. It has often struck me how I wish I could give the gift of self -love to my children, to let them really know and feel how their inner thoughts and feelings can influence their outer world. They can literally change their life for the better and continue to do so. They don’t have to wait for forty years to discover it like I did! Often, in the time prior to my realization of who I really am, I felt powerless, like a child does sometimes, I guess. I want my children and all children to feel powerful and beautiful and joyful and really know how amazing they are. I believe this can really change the world. They are the future. I believe every child is born fearless and joyous. It is only the conditioning they get that slowly changes that until they have forgotten how amazing and fearless and powerful they really are. This has led me to be inspired to create affirmations for kids.
