Often an outside perspective can bring other aspects into consideration, open up the opportunity for multifaceted analysis, and help clarify the picture of what is happening. Renowned German author Olaf Kühl, who served as an advisor to the Governing Mayor of Berlin for many years, compiles the most dramatic events of recent decades in Russia and supplements them with his personal observations and assessments. Through his scholarly work, a rich image of Russia emerges with an accurate and in-depth description and analysis of what is happening.
