About the author

Omar Azzaroni is Adjunct Professor of Physical Chemistry at the Universidad Nacional de La Plata, Argentina. After his Ph D in chemistry 2004, he carried out postdoctoral studies at the University of Cambridge, UK, and the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research, Germany. He is currently a fellow of the Argentinian National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET) and head of the Soft Matter Laboratory at the Universidad Nacional de La Plata. His research interests include nanostructured hybrid interfaces, supra- and macromolecular materials science and soft nanotechnology.

Martin Conda-Sheridan is Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, USA. He received his BSc in chemistry from Brigham Young University, a MSc degree in chemistry from the University of Utah, and his Ph D degree in medicinal chemistry and molecular pharmacology from Purdue University. Thereafter, he performed postdoctoral research at Northwestern University. He started his independent career at UNMC in 2015. Professor Conda-Sheridan has authored more than 30 scientific publications and is a recipient of the National Science Foundation Career Award.
