Omar El‐Khairy is a writer for stage and screen. He is a graduate of both the Royal Court and the Soho Young Writers” Programmes and a fellow of the Old Vic New Voices T. S. Eliot UK/US Exchange. In 2010, Omar cofounded Paper Tiger, an international theatre and film collective and they are currently under commission by Theatre Delicatessen as part of Bush Bazaar. For screen, his short Tunnels is currently in post‐production with Idioms Films in the West Bank, Palestine. A graduate in Economics and Politics from SOAS, University of London, Omar holds a PhD in Political Sociology from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
