After leaving the Army, Paul J. Rowean earned a B.S. in marketing from the University of Hartford and then went on to earn an MBA. He then joined Danaher Tool Group as a project manager and was eventually promoted to vice president of innovation and ideation for the tool group. Paul left Danaher in 2007 and started a consulting firm, Rowean and Associates, which focuses on all phases of new product development and writing the strategic plan for linkage to policy deployment. With his high school sweetheart, Judy, Paul has four children and ten grandchildren, and they are still counting. They live in Old Lyme, Connecticut.
