Paula hails from a small First Nation community in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. For those unfamiliar with the term “First Nation, ” it refers to reserve land that has been set aside by the federal government for the exclusive use of registered Indians in Canada. Paula is Mi’kmaq; she is one of nine children. Paula spent many years living in Toronto and other areas in Southern Ontario. She is currently a consultant and certified public relations professional. Over the past fifteen years, she has completed projects in the areas of First Nation governance, health, community development, trades, and promotion. Her interest in travel inspired her to accept a position as a flight attendant in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In this role, she traveled through Eastern Africa, United Arab Emirates, India, and the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. While her professional passion is research, she spends much of her personal time pursuing spiritual development and numerology. Paula lives with her husband and her twin boys in Southern Ontario.
