Clues from Andrews life and the exploits of the mysterious Mac Cumhaill prove vital to the quest to find Aunt Eibhln. But Andrew is not the only one searching for his aunt, and the past and present suddenly collide and put the group in great peril.

Lorretta Lynde is a fourth-generation Montanan, raised on a ranch on the Crow Indian Reservation where her Irish great-grandparents arrived as they followed the railroads west. She is retired from a thirty-year career in the newspaper business, and she and her husband travel frequently to Ireland. There are now five books in the Magpie Odyssey series.
