Sheau-Yen Chen (retired) was the Data Intensive Cyber Environment (DICE) Center’s Data Grid System Administrator for i RODS. Before DICE, she was with San Diego Supercomputer Center (SDSC) as a programmer/analyst and administered the Storage Resource Broker (SRB). She gained valuable experience as SRB system administrator since 2001. Before moving to California, she worked with Solucient (company that produced 100 top hospitals), University of Michigan’s Department of Radiology, Motoresearch, Northern Telecom, and Dictaphone R&D Center as computer programmer/analyst. Sheau-Yen has an M.S. degree in biostatistics from Virginia Commonwealth University and another M.S. degree in mathematics from Virginia State University.
