About the author
Rita Cecilia Maduell Huie is a retired art educator and clinical social worker with a masters in social work and in music performance. Mrs. Huie is an oil and mixed media painter. She and her husband live on a farm in the middle of Texas caring for sheep, dogs, cats and wild deer who run through the field. She was born and raised in New Orleans from a family of musicians, artists and writers. She and her husband play music in the Catholic church and local community ensembles. Together they have three children and four grandchildren. Her first book is a non fiction story about their farm sheep “Trio”, available through West Bow Press.
