Siegfried Wenzel (1929-2015), studierte Wirtschaftswissenschaften in Leipzig. Von 1955 bis 1989 war er u. a. Vize-Vorsitzender der Staatlichen Plankommission und ab 1990 Mitglied der Regierungsdelegation für die Schaffung der Wirtschafts-, Währungs- und Sozialunion.Jörg Roesler, geboren 1940, war bis 1989 Bereichsleiter am Institut für Wissenschaftsgeschichte der DDR. Er forscht u. a. zur DDR-Ökonomie und ist Mitglied der Leibniz-Sozietät sowie der Historischen Kommission der Linken.
