Today he is leaping and playing near the shore when he stumbles upon a shark who has gotten himself stuck in the sands of the ocean floor. ‘I swam too close to the shoreline’, complains the shark when Sleek swims closer to investigate. Sleek’s offer of assistance is refused. Is the shark wise to turn down help? The dolphin leaves and the shark soon is worn out. Will Sleek return to help out or is this the end for the shark? The surprise ending is the result of much thinking by the dolphin, an old friend, and his new friend, the shark.
