Twenty four years ago, I wrote the original story of Dark Horizons, as a distraction from my action/adventure storylines, but could never wrap my mind around it completely. A few years later, I rewrote my first creations storyline, giving him more purpose by incorporating the idea behind Dark Horizons. It worked, and the concept began to grow. So much so, that I wrote it into my action/adventure universe, pitting my heroes against the agents of darkness. In 2005, I met my wife Vicki, and one day being corny, I made reference to her as my Lady Victorius. Then, it began. I broke out the original manuscript and began to write a brand new story by incorporating the original Dark Horizons, to the cast of new characters. Finally, the missing pieces were found, or created, to finish the series. Next year, along with Dark Horizons: Hells Rayne, I will release the original Dark Horizons story as a prequel to this book, written in a whole new way.
