Bjørnstjerne Martinius Bjørnson (1832–1910) was a towering figure in Norwegian literature and won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1903. Although “The Big Book of Christmas Treasure Tales” is not among his most famous works, it showcases his versatility and his ability to charm readers with heartfelt storytelling. Bjørnson”s influence extended beyond literature; he actively participated in public debates and was an advocate for the Norwegian language and independence.
