The people we meet in these stories are often traveling to and from home—thinking about where they have come from, where they are headed, and how that journey will impact their futures. SIAMAK VOSSOUGHI is an Iranian-American writer whose collection Better Than War came out in 2015. The collection was shortlisted for the William Saroyan International Prize for Writing. He has received a fictionfellowship from the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference. He lives in San Francisco.
