Yanzi Chunqiu is a collection of biographical materials of Yan Ying, a famous prime minister (in feudal China) of Qi State in the Spring and Autumn period. Research History systematically and comprehensively combs the editing, collation, examination and research status of the book over 2, 000 years since its birth. This paper makes scientific and pertinent comments and explanations on the general course, main achievements, various academic issues and important opinions of research on Yanzi Chuiqiu since the Western Han Dynasty, and puts forward a relatively clear development context, so as to provide academic accumulation, experience and training for further research in the future, and collects a large number of materials for reference.
