The manuscript is the sequel of The Search for Musical Beauty (1983-2005 Collection) published by Shanghai Conservatory of Music Press. It is the collection of the author”s research results since July 2005. The content includes 14 essays and 10 comments, as well as the epilogue of the appendix The Tao of Music-Interviews with Famous Artists in Contemporary Chinese Music Aesthetics. The whole book is about 200, 000 words. The results of the manuscript have the characteristics of pioneering in the academic field, the uniqueness of famous research, and the localization of subject exploration, and have a positive impact in the field of musicology.
