Lisa Yaszek es profesora de Estudios de Ciencia Ficción en la School of Literature, Media, and Communication de Georgia Tech, donde investiga y enseña CF como un lenguaje que atraviesa siglos, continentes y culturas. Se interesa sobre todo en temas de género, raza, ciencia y tecnología en los medios de comunicación, así como en la recuperación de voces perdidas en la historia de la CF y el descubrimiento de nuevas voces alrededor del mundo.
