What follows after In the Room Beyond the Rose Garden is its sequel, The Circuit. Never has any author or madam written about the Circuit before. My insight into the workings of this infamous prostitution ring was gained as I lived it, through my relationships with the other madams and the girls. There are no tales naming clients. Rather, the privacy of the men who were involved is maintained. In this respect, The Circuit stands by itself among all the other books written about the subject of prostitution. In the Room Beyond the Rose Garden tells my personal story with facets of the business of prostitution-a tease, a glimpse of the life. The Circuit is the actual structure, function, and details of the massive network of what is a world-wide profession. This will be the reality of a down and dirty situation, from the streets on up, not the glamorized version seen in movies and television. You will read about the real people, not the stereotypes usually presented. Unless you’ve lived it, travelled the road, you cannot know what the actual people face, their lives, their families, their health, their internal conflicts and the mayhem of their reality. Mind you, some people in the life are more than happy to be doing what they do, others are conflicted but enmeshed by circumstances. There should be no blame on anyone in life for decisions that only hurt themselves. We make our choices and choose that path, whether in the world of everyday people, in Hollywood with celebrities, or on the Circuit. You will see the true facts-the reality-not a cinematic portrayal. The Circuit will be for you, for me, for everyone who wants to know the truth.
