John D. Evans, Ed.D., is an educator, humanitarian, folklorist, author, executive producer, artist, lyricist, philosopher, and poet. The author of the nine-volume Evans Poetry Collection and a four-volume series of children’s books, he is a member of several organizations in support of poetry and education. He currently lives in Oak Park, Illinois.
