Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. Tun Reader is here presented with the translation of a Pour which has long been popular in Italy. It was the first one of its kind; and when a trifle is original, even a trifle becomes worth something. In collections of the classical Italian poem, the 311000 in Toscana is never left out: and even in selection of the very greatest, it is admitted. There is a splendid publication, in folio, consisting of the greatest and most popular compositions in Italy, the Decameron, Puri oso, &c., one of which is our author’s Ditbyrambic. The minor editions of it are innumerable.
