Colin the Crab, the most skilful builder of the eastern riverbank, never hesitated to help his friends. After a week of hard work the blue garden pavilion of his dreams is still unfinished, and a boisterous fish family has taken over his construction site. Colin, exhausted, buries himself under the blanket and refuses to open his curtains. Colin’s friends are puzzled. An emergency meeting is called for. It’s time for the friends to take action. – – – -The Caring Crab has been published also in Finnish with the name Avulias taskurapu. – – – -The writer Tuula Pere has written several children’s books and poems alongside her research project on questions pertaining to freedom of speech at the Faculty of Law in the University of Helsinki. Previously, she has worked as a lawyer and served in various expert and senior management positions in international corporations. – – – -The publisher Wickwick is a Finnish publishing company specialized in children’s picture books, novels and poems.
