The contents of this book are divided into four parts: one is the theory of aesthetic history, the other is the appreciation of Tang poetry, the third is the cultural perspective, and the fourth is the comment on works. The whole book adheres to the principle of combining theory with practice, discusses the people-centered creative direction, Tang poetry rules and the fate of poets, as well as the problems in the history of Chinese and foreign aesthetics; it also analyzes many different phenomena in the current culture and art, and then discusses the value of literature and art.
