Lady Chatterley”s Lover is the last full-length novel of the famous British novelist, D. H. Lawrence. The work depicts the love story between the forest guard Mei and Connie, the wife of an English aristocrat Clifford after the World War II. The protagonist of the story, Connie, is a young married woman. Shortly after her marriage, her husband, Clifford, is injured in the war and paralyzed from the waist down. Facing the cruel reality, the kind Connie had to suffer in silence.
