No hesitation is given to spare the feelings of the timid, and readers will be shocked and pleased at the surprising ironies animating each page after page from start to finish. If the chapter vividly describing Joseph doing Martha the night before his marriage to Mary does not tickle your senses, nothing will.

He does not need reader reinforcement in any way, his interest in this story ended with the last word of the last sentence of the epilogue, and his current interest is focused on creating his next story, an effort that needs seclusion and God willing another year of life.
