Starting from the basic feelings of people and the essence of parent-child relationship, the book’s "nourishing" theory puts forward the definition of nourishing parents with the connotation that "the feelings of children are important, and the feelings of parents are also important", and emphasizes the principle of "giving priority to the weak" to eliminate the negative influence of parents’ congenital strength. At the same time, the specific functions of nourishing parents are subdivided into five roles-safety base, emotional container, natural authority, super playmate and conflict sparring partner, and specific methods of reconciliation and relief among different roles are given. The theory of "nourishing" also analyzes the negative effects of "morbid adaptation" caused by improper parenting methods on parents and their children from the psychological aspect, and reveals several common but imperceptible parenting fallacies so as to alert ignorant parents. At present, the course with "nourishing theory" as the core content has become the core course of "National Family Education Instructor (Advanced) Certification Seminar", and it has also been widely taught in parenting education training classes, parents’ classes in schools and various online classes all over the country. The essence of the classroom interaction has also been absorbed and organically integrated into this book.
