La Tonya Jackson is an artist and illustrator living in Shreveport, Louisiana, where she teaches art to elementary and middle school students. A classically trained artist, La Tonya transitioned to children's illustrations after becoming a mom and experiencing the joy of seeing things through her son's eyes.
