This book is the result of the need to provide a comprehensive description of the degenerative, traumatic and oncological disease of the lumbar spine, addressing conservative and surgical treatment to cater to both experts and young surgeons with less experience in this field. The aim of this book is to give an overview on the state of the art, the actuality and the future perspectives of the diagnosis and treatment of lumbar spinal pathologies, highlighting the fundamental role of multidisciplinary management.
