The Granite Mountains where Ollie lived, was the perfect place for a 10-year-old boy like Ollie because it had fishing holes everywhere. One day, his little friend Freddy told him everything he could learn about fishing if he went to school every day. He could learn the science of fishing and navigating through large bodies of water and be the greatest fisherman ever lived.
So, at that very moment, Oliie made a decision to go to school.

Jean Hall-Melton is a veteran teacher of over 25 years in educating children and writing stories that inspire them to learn and be the best they can be. Her goal for writing about children and fishing is to open kid’s minds to a new way to spend their past time to be productive and have fun at the same time. The idea started when she taught a program {Hooked on Fishing not on Drugs} for Arkansas former Gov. Huckabee/Pres. candidate in 2008. Since then, her goal has been to write wonderfully entertaining and adventurous stories about a 10-year-old Character named Ollie and his insatiable love for fishing.
