The Prophet contains 26 essays of prose poetry written in English by the Lebanese artist, philosopher and writer Kahlil Gibran. He tells of the prophet Almustafa, who lived in the foreign city of Orfalese for 12 years and who is about to embark on a ship that will take him home. He was stopped by a group of people, with whom he discusses topics such as life and the human condition. and take care of each other.
