I Love Animals 

I love small animals. This tradition came from the Xie family. My father loved horses and dogs very much. Of course, horses are not small animals. Since we moved to Beijing in 1913, we have lived in a courtyard. We could not afford to raise horses. But we kept raising all kinds of dogs in our family. My eldest brother Weihan wrote a biography of domestic dogs, because he was about 12 years old when he was just able to write a composition. He wrote down several dogs that my family had raised over the years. The dog is one of the most humane small animals. It is close to the owner and loyal to each other. There is no need to say that. Moreover, the personality, ability and hobbies of each dog are different. For example, "Xiao Huang" was a "meddlesome" dog. He was fond of catching mice. He squatted in the corner of the house at night to spy on the mice. But "Hutch" liked swimming. Every time my brothers went boating in the North Sea, it must swim after the boat. When the brothers rowed their boats and rode home from the North Sea, he always ran after the car. The old ladies in our Hutongs who looked at the street by the door cried, "Student, don”t let your dog run. Look at the sweat it”s running." My brothers all laughed.
