The Fear Within is about Laurie is a fifth-grade girl with a big heart for pets and gardening. As spring approached, Laurie, along with her project garden partners, was excited about planting. Laurie couldn’t wait to plant her yearly tomatoes and peppers with the perfect soil. But after experiencing a series of allergic reactions, she began to silently struggle with inner fear and anxiety.
