This book makes a comprehensive study of Fujian literature in Ming Dynasty from the aspects of Neo-Confucianism, imperial examination system, culture, literature, etc., systematically combing the phenomenon of literary conglomeration and association of Fujian writers in Ming Dynasty, and exploring the characteristics of their literary creation in terms of time, region, family and artistry. Based on the family writers group, this paper shows the imperial examination career and its supporting significance for the emergence of many literary families in Fujian Province; based on the period of the times, it studies the literary achievements of Fujian writers in different stages of Ming Dynasty literature, and studies the evolution of their literary concepts and literary creation styles.
