From January 6, 1931 to October 8, 1932, Raise A Colossal Uproar, written by Zhang Henshui, was serialized on Beiping Morning Post. Later, it was published by Hankou Public Book Store in 1934. This manuscript is a realistic novel that exposes the tyranny of warlords in Chinese society in the first half of last century, the invasion of foreign enemies, and the people”s struggle. The manuscript takes the difficult course of university student Bojian as the longitude and the complicated relationship of characters as the latitude to construct the work.
